We had to walk Cpt. Hogancamp's and Anna's bodies home through occupied Belgium, and we didn't want to have to stop and defend ourselves against the enemy. Todd's idea sounded like it would work, seeing as the Krauts didn't bother with medics. So, the four of us men that were going to carry Hogie's body home, put on the table cloths, and the women who were carrying Anna's body, would put on medic's armbands. |
