RUSSIAN SPETSNAZ IN AFGHANISTAN
By: Firefox1435

Check out this 80's era Spetsnaz operative in Afghanistan. Just a nice simple 'bash comprised mostly of Ultimate Soldier parts, with some small custom embellishments. The Beryozka BDU's, tan body armor, chest rig, belt, AKS-74U, and both hats are from 21st Century. The canteen with fabric pouch and boots are from DML, and the goggles are from BBi. I subdued the belt buckle with OD green paint, and changed out the leather belt for one with better quality. Just a light dry brushing of "sand" on the BDU's and boots is all the weathering I did on the figure. The grenade launcher I added to the AKS is the Russian BS-1 Tishina. It is a bore loaded launcher, that fires the grenade with the use of blank cartridges in the pistol grip magazine.

Once again, another outstanding Russian from you old buddy! Boy, you sure must have a fantastic collection of modern Russians by now and this is definitely a great new one to add to the bunch. Special thanks for sending this one in and sharing it with us. - GL
