ONE SHOT'S BRIGADE
By: One Shot

Yes troops it was Monday and once again I was at my in-laws celebrating the Memorial Day weekend. After the 4 slabs of pork Ribs and the Rib Eye Steaks were off the grill and eaten...I got out my camera and started having a little fun under the California sun.

Two U.S. Army Green Berets cautiously advance up a trail after receiving some sniper fire. (NOTE a platoon of One Shot's Brigade Soldiers keep an eye on the flank) The Green Berets are headed off to pick up the soldiers rucksacks which had been left at a nearby patrol base.

The Main Force VC or "Black Pajamas" as some often called them, made effective use of crew-served weapons, whether machine guns, motars,or recoilless rifles.

Note the light scale of personal equipment, including the lack of helmets and body armor favored by the Americans.
