JAPANESE INFANTRY
By: BC Ries

I just finished working on these two riflemen. I added leather slings to their rifles and I tied nets for their helmets and added cotton webbing for helmet chinstraps. BTW the white cloth underneath their watches does not indicate wrist injuries. Japanese troops would often wrap cloth around their wrists before putting on their watch to protect the watches from sweat since nobody was sending them any new watchbands.

Both these guys are armed with the TUS long M-38 rifle, I think they look great after the barrel is drilled out and repainted. I also modified the TUS bayonets so I could mount them on the rifles. I will not tolerate any Japanese riflemen who can not mount their bayonets onto their rifles. I have problems with the TUS mess kit/rice cooker, the plastic handle thingey will not stay on and they always fall off, usually when I'm posing a figure for taking pictures. I gave up on trying to keep the handle thingey in place and I made new ones by bending wire.

More great looking Japanese figures from you here old friend. I can't imagine anybody who wouldn't want these guys in their collection. They definitely look super cool. Special thanks for sending them in and sharing them with us. - GL
