VAGABONDS, LOST CITY OF NAALRA, PART 1
By: Alan of the Vagabonds

I'd like to dedicate Vagabonds Episode: Lost City of Naalra Part I to honor HOGIE. I got thrown off the world somehow too, and making my own sanctuary world to go to is like finding an oasis in a desert.

Journal Entry:
My scout insisted command come with him to check out an oasis in the in the Sahara he stumbled upon. It's an ideal location for a forward base due to it being on the boarder of Tunisia giving us access to Sudan, long range recon to the coast, or a short jump to Egypt. Moreover, The desert surrounding it is extremely loose sand giving us perfect protection as it's impassible to anything more than a quarter ton vehicle, not to mention it's remote region.rt.

I'm led to believe we are finding the lost city called Naalra. The information given to me my Vagabonds have gathered from research and the locals myths and legends is hard to decipher. Tall tales mixed with rumor and fear permeate them. For what it's worth "a portal guarded by the Dark One of the under layer" who apparently killed the entire old civilization in "judgment of transgression of fallen faith" My immediate concerns center on if there are any Italians or Germans who may see the immense potential tactical advantage of this location.

Journal Entry continued:
The Oasis is a marvel to behold. We went from dunes seas almost instantaneously to a small lush forest. The immediate area is fed by deep underground springs. Water is gold in the desert. The trees are huge and must be ancient, but not as old as the ruins. It's dates to pre-Egyptian Sumerian or Mesopotamian, I'm no historian. Im amazed at each turn. How they moved stones larger than those used in the pyramids to build some of these structures is beyond me.

There are runes and sigils on many of the stones here. I've done a few quick rubbings, perhaps if we can translate them they may glean us some information of value.
