Had the day off and wanted to see how well this new phone camera would do... thus these shots.
This was my first build using wood, metal and plastic wheels to build a homemade vehicle for my troops. Let me clarify that, my first SUCCESSFULL build, one other didn't quite make it...gone to the big scrap pile in the sky . It's supposed to be a Krupp Protze Kfz 70 personel wagon with a 75mm light field gun ....worked from pictures, no scale drawings ....shape generally right, but cab area not correct...what can I say, now I have good reference material and plan to do a second one in Afrika Korps markings with anti tank gun towed behind . You'll notice the gun has a piece of brass tubing for the end of the barrell, hadn't the chance to paint it so it is still natural brass. |
| A very cool job for your first attempt my friend, and working from pictures alone too! The one thing I was noticing is how smooth and well built it looks even though you said the accuracy might be off here and there. Really nice job!
