VAGABONDS, LOST CITY OF NAALRA, PART 2
By: Alan of the Vagabonds

Log Entry: Markus ---We were on scout patrols when Command missed radio checks, so we took the SAS Willys out to check in on them. An American gal, Cindy, the unit's medic, was with us. We had a couple of wrenches in the works. The Lass took off her boots during a smoke and water break and didn't think to shake out her shoes before she put them back on. Her ankle swelled from a scorpion sting to the point she couldn't put her boot back on. A medic should know better. I've had to remind even command to take more water with them when they go out too. These Americans aren't ready for the desert...

Speaking of the Yanks, a couple blokes from the 82nd and 101st seemed to be lost but fate had a way to lend them to us right when we needed them to get out of a bind. These *REAL* "Ultimate Soldiers" got us out of a patch of loose and wet sand.

They got separated from a small squad of AEF's, frankly I'm shocked the old man FDR is getting bold enough to put some scouts out here. That non aggression treaty ties his hands, the Vagabonds can't wear any colors of the colonies. I think they all are even officially listed as killed in training exercises on the books. Still, it won't be long before the USA officially enters the war.

One lost antenna and also one lost boot later, but with two more men we are back on our way to find our two missing commanders and scout. A bit of a delay getting bogged down like that, but as the American's would say... here comes the Calvary!!! End log entry... Sergeant Markus, British Liaison to the Vagabonds.

Cindy Vagabonds Medical officer, Entry: We did a bit of searching than I saw something. I've seen gore but the remains of this German, I don't know of an animal that would be large enough to rip a man's head off like that. Even lions in a killing blow snap a neck, not rip it out.
