VAGABONDS, LOST CITY OF NAALRA
CHAPTER VIII

By: Alan of the Vagabonds

JOURNAL ENTRY: The Ultimate Soldiers I sent out are somewhere in France. The Sergeant apparently sold used cars and seems to have been making great swaps with our spare supplies. So much so that he somehow got the Royal Air Force to make a drop to us with a couple of crates of weapons and supplies. Harriet is going to have to go through them and work her gunsmith magic.

Our German defector Lilli Marleen is on the move, freed by French resistance fighters led by a woman named Carey, nicknamed the one armed bandit. Our men are trying to locate them now and are closing.

JOURNAL ENTRY CONTINUED: The Vagabonds can't count on artillery or air support. I want to know that anything my outfit can get its hands on they can fight with right down to Harriet's hold out derringer or Steph's Mauser or even a flintlock pistol.

JOURNAL ENTRY CONTINUED: I have two concerns. My scout seems to have been eating local fauna he misidentified. He is currently getting a bit of rest in bed. Also We have not heard any transmissions from Marwencol Belgium in a while.

SHOW NOTES AND BONUS: I can't help the running gag with the goat. If you do a bit of looking you can see him in a couple of the shots like a where's waldo thing in this episode.

Below is three preview shots of upcoming people into the Vagabonds universe I have been working on. The first is the Professor on his 2 dollar thrift store find atv! This man of adventure and action is an inventor, archeologist, and is complete with a repro fuzzy head and beard!

The Germans commander with Carey a Jewish French resistance fighter who lost her left arm probing for mines with a bayonet to the left. I hand sewed her cloak. Bubbles is on the right. "Got any gum chum?" I might seriously consider surrender to those gals too.

The illusive Lilli Marleen on the left with a British chap from a power team figure I've been working up.

Hopefully we will see some spring here eventually and I can get out for some decent photo shoots outside!
Till next time keep the powder dry in that Flintlock you scurvy dog!- Alan of the Vagabonds

Another cool episode here my friend. Hopefully the warm weather will be coming in soon. I've been dying to get out and do a couple things myself this spring. Keep up the great work old buddy. I'm looking forward to your next episode. Special thanks for sending this one in and sharing it with us. -- GL
