VIETNAM SOG
By: Captain Fisher

This is a set of four pics showing a figure I have been kitbashing here lately.. Its a Vietnam era SOG troop. He's wearing the uni and boots from the Cav set.. Has the two pocket ruck, cloth buttpack with claymore mine bag strapped on top of it. Of special note are his canteens.. unhappy with my Nam era canteens, I cut the tops off of a few and put them on WW2 canteens, then repainted it... looks great now !! He is also sporting a custom -shirt dickey, made to look a little worn out and loose around the neck.. and the "drive-on rag" and scarve are made from the real thing.. Hope you like him ! ( He's my favorite Nam figure now :) The last picture is just for fun.. I found the donuts at a craft store.. It is actually a fridge magnet.. but my Cops needed them so I picked it up...

Outstanding work again Captain! I can see why this guy is your favorite Vietnam custom. I don't believe I've ever seen a Vietnam uniform that looked quite as real as that one. Great work all around for sure! I loved that cop pic too (heh heh). Keep up the great work buddy! Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us as always. -- GL
