| Lt. Toyaba: We will begin preparations for our attack on the American Marines position just after sunset. What they think is their strength will be their weakness. |
| Lt. Toyaba: The Americans have prepared a position and stockpiled ammunition, they will give away their positions by shooting too much when they hear movement at night. Isamu will use his 50mm mortar to eliminate the Marines as they shoot. |
| Lt. Toyaba: The other element of the attack will be Numata who will move up with Naito and Katayama. |
| Numata: If they fire their weapons Isamu will hit them with his mortar and if they don't we will close in and defeat them. |
| Lt. Toyaba: The final element is Tobei who along with Takanashi III set up a Machinegun position to cover Numata, Naito and Katayama as they advance. |
