MEDIC IN ACTION
By: SomeRandomFireFighter

As bright red blood is still spurting from the wound in bursts, the medic realizes that the femoral artery has been severed.

He decides to attempt to clamp the vein and control the bleeding using a hemostat (the scissor-like device that has a locking clamp at the tip instead of a blade)

The combat-lifesaver (regular soldier with basic medical training who can assist medic but whose primary mission is still that of a soldier) arrives to assist the medic (as well as my knee on the left hand side)

As the medic works the CLS (combat lifesaver) comforts the wounded soldier to prevent him from going into shock
