REMEMBRANCE DAY DIO
By: Pvt. Mel

I finally did it. I went and jumped out of my comfort zone. My sister works at one of the swimming pool/ librarys close to where I live and asked me if I wanted to do a little dio. She showed her boss my western pictures and thought it would be cool if I could do something for remembrance day. This is the first time I ever did something like this for anybody else but friends, family and my 1/6 family on your site here. I was a little nervous to say the least, but I said yes.

Just after I was done, I got so many WOWs and even an "EPIC" from a 10 year old kid. I didn't know what to expect from anyone but I am so glad I did it. Now I know how all you guys who get to set up scenes in the public eye feel. So, thank you all for giving me that push to do something like this and show other people how very cool our hobby can be.

My sister's boss was so pleased she asked if it could stay up until the end of this month. I even got to display pictures of my dad on the right, my wife's dad on the left and a good friend's dad in the middle. My friend's dad's uniform is the one that hangs on the door in my toy room. My wife being in bands since high school said it was my first toy gig. lol.

A great looking display here Mel, your Canadians look terrific! I can see why you got a lot of kudos for your work here. Special thanks for sending this cool project in and sharing it with all of us. - GL
