Here's a couple I just snapped of a B-17 gunner. Got the B-17 boxed figure on ebay, and swapped out the body with a BBI.
I need to do some work on a flight helmet, i am converting a Hasbro Japanese at the moment without as much success as I
like. maybe I will break down and buy a billy hicks flight helmet. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $150 for the Dragon
versions, when I think this makes a pretty good looking figure by itself.
I tossed on the Armor/Flak vest from DMLs Bryan, which gives him a bit of a different look. I think he looks cool, with the .50. Although the shells are inaccurate for the B-17 configuration, I think he looks "decked out" with a string of .50 cal over his shoulder. Hope you enjoy! |
