Thanks to IrishSEAL13, for sending me the motors, gear boxes, and servos, over a year and a half ago :) I finally got the
gumption to replace all the guts of the tank last week, and then I had to worry about whether the battery would take a
charge again, after such a long time of sitting in my closet, un-juiced... but the battery took the charge ! After the battery
was fully juiced (after 18 hours of charge time), I sparked up the tank, and grabbed the transmitter, turned it on, and it
wouldn't work. At first, I thought that Irish sent me the 27mh servos, because my transmitter is 49mh... until I changed
the 9v. battery in the transmitter, and then everything on the tank came to life !!! It was so good to hear that
sound-board again !!
In my story, Tank Mechanic's determination to get Cpt. Hogancamp's M-5 running again, paid off. Although the Tank is
REALLY, REALLY Rusty (because of the almost two years of sitting in the snow and rain and sun), it runs again !!!! I
am so Grateful, to have more Armour to protect my town against the bad men in the world, that want to blow up my
spot, in Marwencol :) Thank you IrishSEAL13, for the hardware. Oh yeah, I almost forgot,... I tied together the
starboard tank tread, where it broke, with 21 C., green, nylon repelling rope :)
