Decided I'd mess around with the Comic Life program I've been meaning to use forever :) Getting a feel for how it works. Still working out some bugs as you might notice :) I took the photos prior and sort of BS'd the story around them this week :)
The 2 "Joes" featured in this shoot are the new Elite Brigade Adventure Team themed figures from Cotswold Collectibles. The gray haired Land Adventurer is wearing a jacket and turtleneck shirt from Project-Are, with some 21st black cargo pants and 40th repro Joe short boots, Carrying a vintage AT rifle. The white haired Adventurer is wearing a black turtleneck from Project-Are with 21st black cargo pants, 40th repro Joe boots, rubber Walmart repro AT shoulder holster and pistol. Embroidered patches on both figures are from Project-Are as well. (In my Adventure Team world, once you "semi-retire" from the team the black letters on your team patches are replaced with white ones). Smokey the dog is a Hasbro dog if I remember correctly. The gear bags are from the old Action Toy Gear company. The 1/6 RC Humvee is an Allegro from Leyu Toys. It has working lights, engine and horn sounds as well. Rear passenger doors do not function. Still might add a few more decals and such to the humvee eventually and remove some of the remaining ones that came on it (you can see those in the front end shot) Well hope you liked it, even though it was a bit silly and amateurish :) Hopefully I'll get better with the story telling and with working the Comic Life program, now that I decided to finally break it out and mess around with it. Hopefully the learning curve will be short considering all the great 1/6 comic creators we've had around here to learn from. - GL |
