Dear Colonel sir,
We walked the path of our tank tracks hoping that around the next corner we'd find "Buckshot". .. . Alaqua's ankle was well enough that she could walk, with the aid of a stick,... and since Lt. Jones' Sten gun broke, I let him have my "Chicago Piano" to be in charge of, and Tank Mechanic let me have his "Chopper", while he walked with the Remington, 12 ga. pump. He carried a bandolier of, you guessed it, double O buckshot :) Jeff and Chris, were "holding their own", and that was a major comfort to me. I don't like being "in charge" of anybody, but I was an officer in the United States Army's 9th Armoured Division,..... and I've stolen a tank. Oh brother ... I mean, Colonel sir, I'm probably going away for a long time when my Commanding officer notices one of his tanks missing from the motor pool.... Respectfully Yours, Cpt. Hogancamp, 9th Armoured Div. |
