Dear Colonel sir,
An American Lt., a friend of mine, was supposed to come and visit the troops and I in Marwencol, but I guess it was still being held by the Germans at the time. He's over in some other no-name town, and he sent me a letter saying that he'd come to the town that we just Liberated, so he can get in on the future parties and barbeques, that we just might have :) Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt.
