| I managed to finish the cradle last night by adding the lock/release mechanism to the front pintle. It is the little aluminum piece just under the front of the cradle. This is the gun "as is" for the moment. I still have much to finish. The white plastic plugs on the top rear, and lower front of the water jacket are laminated plastic and still have to be filed down more. The rear sight has not been applied and some details are still being added. The leather strap to hold the tripod legs still needs to be finished along with several other smaller details. The steam collection tube is still in the works as well. The pics of the tripod and cradle show the addition of that lock/release mechanism. |
| I sure do love to see when you guys get down and dirty on these little guns and really make them look even more real. Superior work so far my friend. I can't wait to see it when it's finished! Special thanks for sending this cool project in and sharing it with us. - GL |
