Found the banjo at our local Art store, and knew it would be perfect for the era. The soldier is Sideshow Toys. Infantryman from the Army of Northern Virginia.
I made the dio base from an old recycled trophy, plaster, paintbrush (for the grass). Made the barrel as well, used coffee stirrers for the barrel slats, over a hand curved block of wood. |
