Here's my 1/6th version of the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. I found the head sculpt some time ago, but recently upgraded his outfit. I also hand did the t-shirt with the Flipper logo. I'm not exactly 100% satisfied with it since I'm so anal about these kind of things. I might have to go back and redo it. I used a fine-tip fabric pen but it started bleeding on the kind of material his shirt was made out of; making the lines look a little too thick for my liking. It works though, since most of it is covered by the plaid. I've been holding on to this figure for a while because I was trying to locate a 1/6th scale guitar that looked right on Kurt. Then the lightbulb went on over the top of my head and I remembered I had a genius miniature guitar maker in my midst - our old friend Warriors 1st BN. So of course I hit him up for some assistance in making a 1/6th replica of Kurt's left-handed Fender Mustang guitar and he generously agreed to come to my aid. I have to say our old friend Warriors put together a masterpiece for me. In my opinion, nearly perfect down to the last detail. He even included a guitar strap and an actual amp cord - that actually plugs into the guitar jack! I couldn't have asked for anything better. He's a complete master at these little mini guitars. Working together, I think we came up with a pretty darn good looking representation of Kurt Cobain - pretty much exactly how I would liked to have seen him come in a box set. I hope you like him too!
