A HARD DAY AT THE OFFICE
By: GrandSport

This is supposed to represent a special-ops figure after a long and busy day in Iraq. I used a BBI first-generation caucasion body-builder figure that I had laying around. He seemed to have a decent sculpt but his skin-tone was just too plain. So I ground up some pencil lead and gave him a wash and then a dry brush of ground pastel chalk. Then I rubbed a little ash here and there from the fireplace. I trimmed a little hair off of my own head and taped it to his forehead, then lowered the BBI helmet over it. I wanted him to have a dry parched and dirty look and wash seemed to do the trick, especially on the lips.

His M4 is a Dragon piece that I detailed. I drilled holes in the RAS system (foregrip) like the real thing has, and filled the holes in the rails. I added an BBI Eotech holograph sight and a sling from a Hot Toys M4. I then sprayed the weapon with Tamiya Light Sand and gave it a heavy wash of flat black.

The Eagle TAC V-10 Tactical vest and the lace-up boots are from Toy Soldier . The drop-down holster and kneepads are from Hot Toys.

The TUS figure in the background is next on the list for upgrades.

Very very cool my firend. Just a terrific looking customized figure here all the way around. I can't wait to see the TUS guy when he's done. If he looks anything like this guy when he's finished he should be killer as well. Special thanks for sending this cool project in and shaing it with us - GL
