SAS JEEP IN PROGRESS
By: Graeylin

This is a 21C "War Eagle" jeep that I am converting into general use in the Mideast, circa 1959.

I removed the back seat totally, to make room for a medic or to allow the stretcher to be put crossways. I banged up the fenders, bumper and thinned them out with a dremel. Put some dents in the hood, flat panels on the sides, etc. Bent the front grill and fender.

Sanded the finish off, and left it rough to simulate years of sun and sandstorms. Put some "dirt" on it, with spray paint and real dirt. There is still a lot more to do before I am done, but when finished, this will host my wounded SAS, two para's (one as a medic) and another SAS.

Very sharp work so far Graeylin. I like all the little things you've done to it. I have to say though, that's about the dirtiest 1/6th jeep I've ever seen :) It looks like you buried it for a month :) I definitely can't wait to see this one when it's finished. Special thanks for sending it in and sharing it with us. -- GL
