Finally got my customized 21st century toys kubelwagen painted and put back together. Only GL knows how long I have been working on this. I think I started before Dragon come out with their awesome kubel, which is probably why I put this project off for so long. But now that it's back together, I'm pretty happy with it.
The figure is of a "Free India Legion," also called the "Indian Volunteer Legion of the Waffen-SS." They were part of the German military and were fighting with the liberation of India from British-ruled in mind. |
| Way cool Warriors! You did another amazing job old friend. She's a true piece of art now. So many cool details. Great looking Indian soldier too. I had better bone up on my history because I had no idea Indians fought as part of the Waffen SS.
