I found the old DML Cheong SDU figure at a collectibles/comic store I frequent, and used him as an excuse to venture into the current high quality world of 1/6th for kitbashing purposes. The quality of whats out now is amazing, though the price is still pretty high for what in the end is still just a model/toy.
Anyway, the Breacher dude in the blue jumper is the result of that kitbashing. The figure is DiD, the coverall is Magic Cube, and there's stuff from Hot Toys, Very Hot Toys, BBI, Soldiers Story, some other companies I dont even remember the names of, and some of Dragons high quality end game stuff they put out before leaving the 1/6th market. The dude in the DPM is the Cheong figure with some additions from Soldiers Story, ACE, and the like. |
| Definitely two great looking figures you put together here old friend. Lots of great detail on all their gear! Yeah, I get what you're saying with all the high-priced stuff out there nowadays, but you sure did turn out two fantastic looking projects here.
