This collection of shots all came from the same general set up, it took 8 hrs to bring out, set up, take the pictures, and finally tear down and put away. The vast majority of the figs are TUS SSams, with the addition of mainly JOE, then DML, BBI, and SOTW in that order of participation.
You will notice that all of my TUS guys that are standing, some just on one leg in mid stride, all stood during the entirety of the shoot, despite a stiff breeze that was sufficient to blast the boonies off one of my troops several times. Most , if not all of the long shots of the mass of my troops are not fiddled with by computer graphics, the stiff wires that hold the guys up, run up the pant leg from where they are planted in the ground and are positioned to be hidden from the camera. There is a mix of my two platoons of Marines, and some SEALs, Afghan, Iraq, South and Central American spec ops, and various law enforcement types, together with an odd assortment of commie revolutionaries, East German and cuban mercs, drug dealing coke barons, terrorists, hookers, and spies. |
