THE VILLAGE, PART ONE
By: Sgt. Howard

This is the beginnings of my ETO village... I have decided to create it in such a way that it can be France, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Poland or whatever. The Boxes will support face flats of whatever architecture I need- the street will be paved or unpaved as required. Essentially, a movie set for stills. I will be extending it 12'+ in either direction and it will be lined with apple boxes on either side... btw, notice a familiar box in Number 4? For that matter, I think #5 shows where I did the last photography of "Pilgrimage".

BONUS PHOTOS:
Here are the images I just made using Mattel 'Fashionistas' #64- she's just a smidge shorter than Barbie, modestly busted, nicely fanny-packed with delicious thighs... yes, I like my women with healthy padding, thank you very much. She is minus the "I am a blonde cheerleader" smile and 45 degree angled feet, so there is that much more realism for our efforts. All-in-all, helluva deal for under $8- next I will detail the process of making skirt/blouse/clogs for this little Lady. Wow... do you suppose they might make one with wrinkles to show a 40-something to 50-something year old? We can only hope... meanwhile, she is chastely wearing cast-in panties to protect her modesty... even so, that butt deserves more than a second glance... The 'spread eagle' pose is to demonstrate the extent of her mobility. Knees and elbows are of course ridged. Hands are nicely proportioned, but feet are a mite small.

I can't wait to see more of the village old buddy and how it fleshes out once you get more detail in it. I'll have to check out some of those Barbies too. I had heard they were making these, but I haven't gone looking for them in the toy stores yet. Special thanks for giving us a peek at both of these projects! - GL
