'57 PRO STREET
By: Kaber

What's Gunther like to do in his spare time you ask? Well after fielding a sucessful Trans-Am Racer and building vehicles for the Government (Including the Adventure Team and NASA) He likes to unwind in his shop. He's currently putting together a little '57 Chevy for Power Touring and a Little Heads up racing. As you can see it's in the construction stages right now. He's already "Tubbed" it and scratch built a tube chassis with Roll over protection.

We also see him fitting the front bumper/grill assy and exhaust. Under the hood is the "Spare" 427 from the 'Vette and Gunther is planning a little Laffing Gas just for fun, but don't tell anyone!!! It has a Six speed Over drive Transmission, Holly Pro- jection fuel injection and a narrowed 9" Ford rearend with Lincon Disc Brakes to slow that big beast down. He's getting ready to take it over to his Buddy Todd for some Paint and Body work. (Todd's SSSSLOW but does a great Job) -- Kaber

Wow, some terrific stuff again Kaber! That Chevy sure is looking good so far. I can't wait to see some shots of it when you're finished. Keep up the great work! Special thanks for sending this cool project in and sharing it with us. -- GL
