Attack on Saipan

A Japanese machine gun nest, Saipan 1944.

A marine unit is on patrol.

The machine gun nest opens fire on the marine unit.

"MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN" said the Gunny.

Some of the marines go up the hill after the nest. Some put on their bayonets.

They take out the Commander and machine gunner.

They change over the hill and take a prisoner.

There souveniors.

Very nice work here BHD. One of you best thus far in my opinion. Some cool set ups in this one for sure. I really liked that shot of the Marines in the ditch. Keep up the cool work trooper. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. - GL
