This set is an Aussie SAS in WWII, on a special forces recon. I was inspired by another trooper's SAS bash, and I finally found a use for that 21C Afghan Robe/Coat. He has cut off the bipod from his LMG to lower the weight slightly. This guy has decided that the set of Afrika Corp boots suits him better than the short boots originally issued to him, providing better ankle support and better sand protection. He is examining an Italian grenade picked up in a raid, and in his belt he carries a German Walther, a looted war trophy from one of his raids.
fellow board member TC sent me the wineskin this trooper carries with him, along with his canteen, his link to survival in the desert. As soon as i got it in the mail, i knew it had to go with my newest figure! |
