CUSTOM MOUNTAIN MEN
AND INDIAN

By: Mark V

These are some custom mountain men I've been working on lately. I used sculpey to make their hair and beards and then painted them using dry-brush techniques. I made all their buckskin leathers and moccasins using a sewing machine and a pattern given to me by CK2. The headsculpts that I started with were: a peanut head joe, a joe Eisenhower, the 506th pathfinder, the german from the motorcycle&sidecar, and the Japanese Infantry was used for the Indian figure. I recently took a small trip to Kentucky to the Daniel Boone National Forest and to Natural Bridge State Park, and I thought that this would be a great place to take the first photos of these figures. I would like to thank Pointman, Kaber, Cableguy, and esspecially CK2, for their ongoing help, support and encouragement. Friends like these are what makes this hobby so fun ! -- Mark V
