WW2 Russian Lieutenant
By: Vater & Sohn Hobby Team

We began our latest project with the book "Uniformen des II. Weltkrieges" by Peter Darman. It is an outstanding reference source for kitbashing and custom projects.

Here we find some information about our "Hero" and a nice color drawing of him.

The Police Helicopter Pilot from the "America's Finest" edition was a lucky find for us because it's not very easy to get Ultimate Soldier stuff in Germany. The dealers who sell action figures don't usually order 21st figures, mostly only vehicles. But this was a sale - now we could start oure project.

This lieutenant is a veteran of the World War. It's shown by the medals he wears. (Red Star, the Great War Star, under that medal you see the Guardmedal. On the other side are two campaign medals. Timeline: 1945 april Theater of war: Germany Area of action: Cottbus-Berlin

The whole uniform and the accessories are handmade! The belt and gunholster is made of real leather.

This image shows the way from the inspiration to the result.

Another awesome project from you and your son my friend. You do great work together. Every detail is just perfect. An inspiring project for anyone viewing him for sure. Special thanks for sending him in and sharing him with us. - GL
