AMERICA'S FINEST UNIFORM UPGRADES
By: Medi-Jeep

Hello all!
I'm currently preparing for a photo story featuring "America's Finest". I really like the 21C Police and CHP uniforms---they have been fairly easy for me to obtain. However, I wanted to "upgrade" them to be more on par in appearance to DML and BBi police uniforms. It is a tedious task somewhat, but I believe the end results are really worth the work! The following photos illustrate what I did:

The basic 21C Blackwater Police uniform shirt.

The "upgraded" shirt. First, I sewed on the black shirt and pocket buttons. Next, I removed the original shirt badge so I could use the more cool looking badge from the 21C K-9 cop shirt. The K-9 badge is a bit thick, so I sanded down the back a bit to make it more realistic looking. Then, I glued the badge onto the shirt. I also glued on the nametag (this came from a BBi uniform shirt).

The original 21C shirt again, with silver snaps.

I thought the silver snaps were a bit distracting with the shirt snapped closed, so I replaced them with a set of black snaps.

An officer with his "new" uniform. His cap is BBi, with the cut down badge from the original 21C shirt I began with. I did notice one thing at this point, the big floppy collar, so I had to iron the collar to make it less floppy, showcasing his "shield" a bit better!

This is the police captain's shirt. Notice how much better it looks with the ironed collar!
