| This figure depicts a Combat Diver from the 20th SFG. He is making an insertion via Para-SCUBA drop and is flying the static line parachute--MC1-1B. The figure is 21st C through and through. This is basically a combination of the Nights OPs diver and the modern 82nd airborne uniform set. The rucksack is from the Delta Project uniform set. It has been overstuffed and loaded down and has a harness and lowering line added. Everything from the capewells up is custom made as is the main parachute container (you wouldn't believe what I made that out of). I am particularly happy with the tie down straps inside the main container. I also added the steering lines to the risers and the parachute harness had to be modified (very slightly). I tried to capture the look and feel of making a descent under a wide open canopy. -- R. Foley |
