| Marine Sniper: The uniform and vest are from a BBI freedom force boxed figure I found back when KB Toys had them on sale(found these in Orlando FL while on vacation). The figure is 21C. I thought the sculpt had that young, tough, and confident quality that a marine sniper would posses. The rifle was from a trade and I believe it is BBI. |
| Modified Vest: I bought up several of the SOTW sets when Wal-Mart marked them down last year. I found that with some customization they could work. I removed the collar and cut away the camo material from the inside back of the vest. I used this material to cover a peice of cardboard that forms the "crotch" guard. I sticked some OD Green ribbon onto the vest to simulate the elastic carry bands on the new vests (this gave me fingers some nice cramps hehe). Not long after I finished doing four or five vests this way, I bought some BBI vests loose. Mine were so inadequate by comparison that I stopped stitching... This is one of the things I dont like about the ultra-detailed figures that some manufacturers produce...there is nothing for me to do to them...oy! |
| Uzi-stock: This weapon is the UZI from the Carded Henchmen figure by 21C. I used the stock from a Thompson SMG. It took some carving/shaping to make the stock match the photos I had but it was not too much work. The figure is kitbashed from all 21c gear. I had imaged him to be part of a kill-team, using "foreign" weapons to assist in "plausable, deniability" etc... The photo was shot using close up filters on a 50mm lense. This allowed the closeness of the shot but creates a very narrow depth of field (thus the soft focus of the figure itself). |
| Neo: The body is BBI. The uniform, boots, rifles, grenade, and double pistol rig are all 21C. The jacket is from a Final Fantasy figure I bought on clearance at TRU. |
