Here is my United Nations Humvee using
21st Century's Hummer. I decided to go with a peacekeeping mission theme and
painted the troop carrier white. I glued a blue cloth on the canvass top and cut
open the passenger side windshield to accommodate a Squad Automatic Weapon. I
added a radio and microphone on the dashboard. Sanded the tires and weathered
the entire vehicle. Also added an antennae. I took off the side raillings on the
back but left the folding seats and painted them. I added a twin .30 caliber
machineguns on the center. This weapon set up was common on Rhodesian Black
Devils trucks seen on the reference photo. And to complete the project, made UN
stickers.
The three man crew wears the TUS woodland bdus and blue kevlar helmets. They could be US Peacekeepers. |
