Another march here, a quick march there, then back to camp...

But as they move into their combat formation...

They have no idea what's awaiting them...

As the Germans open up, the Americans are caught by surprise...

2 men are hit quickly and fall....

The other troops hit the ground by instinct. Even the Tank CO is caught by surprise...he hasn't had time to close the hatch.... Realizing that without support they cannot win, the Germans slowly disappear into the night... Leaving the Americans to tend to their wounded...
