"Here we have a view of the bolt assembly, Note how big the extractor claw is (the silvery looking piece on the front of the bolt face). You can also see the firing pin is poking out of it's guide hole."

"Returning to the weapon itself, here you can see the trigger assembly. The real Herdsman is smart enough not to attempt disassemble of this part of the weapon. He recommends only qualified gunsmiths should do this if the need arises. Note the folding stock assembly at the rear of the rifle. Not a lot of space huh?"

"As part of the take down process, the last part needed to be removed is the gas tube. Raising this lever provides easy removal"

"Here is a view of all the parts after take down. Herdsman uses various brushes, cleaning agents, and lubricants to ensure the weapon is clean at all times. Note that there are very few parts to be cleaned including the main part of the weapon itself. Perfect for the troopers to easily clean their weapons in the field."

"To close out our demonstration, here is a picture of a Bulgarian 'Waffle" Magazine and a round of 7.62 x 39 mm ammunition. Sanchez and I would like to say thanks for viewing our demonstration. In the near future, we hope to take down the Bushmaster M-4 Carbine (Civilian Post-Ban version of course). So stay tuned!!!"

Another great set here from you Herdsman! It's really interesting to see that AK close up. A nice weapon you have in your collection there for sure. Special thanks for sending this one in and sharing it with us. - GL
