I decided to try my TUS update project again, and snagged some more TUS figures off of Ebay for cheap. I always liked the SAS figure, especially after playing with Boogermeisters when I was younger.
Being a rather simply kitted figure, I assumed it would be a quick turnaround. Unfortunately the parka design was completely wrong, and the pockets on the whole uniform were woefully undersized. Most of my time was spent re-sewing the pockets to proper size and remaking the parka. Again, my goal was to keep the original parts of the figure, and add/replace major components as little as possible. The only additions are the boots and the TUS gloved hands to replace the emerald green pullover gloves. |
