The guille was constructed as follows:
Take one old BDU from SOTW as well as a boonie. All material is from Wall Mart in the sewing dept. Yarn that was somewhat camo (brown, white, redish green) already, dark brown burlap, light brown burlap, and green T-shirt material. To start sew on a netting material. This was a netting material that had small holes in it and it was green (I don't know what it was intended for. The netting was sewn onto the back of the BDU and over the front of the sleeves and top of the boonie. Then string or thread was fastened to the netting starting from the top and work down every 1/2 to 1 inch. The yarn as well as the burlap and T-shirt material was tied into knots fastened around the string or thread. The burlap was about 1/4 to1/2 inch wide. The same for the material. The burlap was shredded in some areas as was the yarn. It took about three night to construct. The guille is made essentially as a real sniper would make his own guille. I got the instructions for a real guille from several web sites. The rifle is the one from the 1999 sniper set. -- Major H.
