Diesel started with a CC Joe body (for its wider torso and narrow waist)
that had epoxy putty added to its calves, thighs, chest and back in the
rough shape of the muscle groups. The arms were done smoother and more
refined to avoid any sanding. The arms received artist's oil paints and
clear flat varnish. The headsculpt was made from Super Sculpty and
painted with artist's oils and varnish as well. Most of his gear comes
from the SWAT Commander set.
He is named Diesel as he is my fourth headsculpt and his goggles reminded me of Pitch Black's Diesel, though the goggles were inspired by Liberatore's Ranxerox comic character. |
| Outstanding work there Hellhound, without a doubt! The head you sculpted is just way too cool. You've definitely inspired me. Very nice kitbashed uniform as well, with all the cool use of a lot of varying pieces. I love this guy! Definitely can't wait to see what you do next. Keep it up!
