COMBAT (ALMOST)
By: Checkmate King 2

Somewhere in France, 1944, a small squad from the Special Operations Group enters a small farm house. They're supposed to meet a member of the resistance and use the house for forward observation.

Cpl. Stypinski, enters the farm house. "Well, somebody's here. There's bread and cheese on the table."

Other members of the squad file in and start to make themselves at home.

Sgt. Ursino tells Pvt. Gainy to search the farm yard for their contact while he searches the rest of the house. Meanwhile, Lt. Paterson calls HQ. "Checkmate King 2, this is White Rook, over. We are at the rendezvous but contact has not been made yet."

No one in the house Lt., I'll check out back. Stypinski, Middleton, watch the door and window !

Oh Lt.! I've made contact !
