GET ME TO THE CHURCH ON TIME
By: BAR

Machine gunner and his assistant fire from the bell tower of the church,

Brit Paras join in from atop of one of the restrooms of the church building.

The germans return fire, but one by one, they are picked off by the allied soldiers.

After successfully defeating the Germans, the 2nd Rangers assemble a grappling hook to get up on the roof of the belltower.

For this Ranger, climbing a bell tower is no sweat after doing Point Du Hoc, as he is given the victory symbol by the Screamin' Eagles on his way to the top of the bell tower.

A late afternoon sun silhouettes the Ranger placing the grand old lady on the cross as he finally makes it to the top of the bell tower.

Outstanding work BAR, without a doubt!! I don't know where I'd store that church, but I'd surely love to have one. You're a lucky man, and a very talented one! Your church has to be by far the finest WWII building I've ever seen. And that last shot of the Ranger planting the flag on the bell tower is just too cool for words. Your Germans are by far some of the nicest custom work I've laid my eyes on. I thought all the detailing on the soldiers and the vehicles was too cool. All around terrific work and no better way I can think of to celebrate the anniversary of D-Day. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. -- GL
