ALLIED AMBUSH
By: Private Ponke

"Don't hold back, Jerry!" shouts the dispatch rider as he lays down some heavy fire on the German behind the MG-34. Just as the sniper is about to get to safety, the Garand rifle sights become set on his head&

And with one trigger pull, the bullet tears through his skull.

Not having enough time to return fire, the German behind the MG-34 tries to sneak out of the vehicle pit without the Americans knowing it. As he is almost out, he grabs a stick grenade, but is mortally shot by the dispatch rider.

The rider still lays down fire to make sure the infantryman dies. The 29th Infantryman pulls out his Thompson sub-machine gun and continues to shoot the sniper.

The infantryman slumps over the hood of the vehicle.

The last German shouts, "Ich übergeben!" Even though he knows that he will most likely be shot anyway.

Nice set ups there Private. It looks like you spent a lot of time on this photo shoot. Special thanks for sending them in and sharing them with us. -- GL
