By: String

Situation: Rogue members of the Panamanian elite "Mocho de Monte's" have fled into the jungles in hopes of starting a guerilla war. This fire fight revolves around an old Spanish fort that the Mocho's are using to stock pile weapons and munitions

Part IV - Fire Mission Over.. As the 7th Infantry sweeps the hills surrounding the Spanish Fort a weapons crew from the 82nd prepares an 81MM mortar for support.

The platoon Sgt. from the 82nd ABN Div. hears a HUMMER approaching as the gunner works the sights on an 81MM mortar.

MP's emerge from a 2 track into the clearing where the mortar crew has positioned itself.

The gunner, using hand and arms signals, calls out an adjustment to his assistant manning the aiming post.

The Platoon Sgt takes an active interest in the approaching MP's as the gunner continues the sight and aiming post alignment procedure.
