the Brooklyn girl (a Hungarian soldier on horseback), came lazily out of the woods with her horse in tow, the horse too tired to carry her anymore. She stopped at the base of the waterfalls and saw a pool of water, that she would be able to wash the Nazi blood off of herself in ; so she got undressed and slipped into the pool.
She took the wine glass out of her satchel and her wine-ration skin, and poured herself a well deserved glass of wine, and chilled out in the cool waters of the small pool, and her mind drifted off somewhere for a moment, and then it was gone. . . . . . Rich and Graey were still in disguise among the Nazis, who were looking for Marwencol. The rush of the falls drowned out Graey's yelling over the radio-phone, so those Nazis couldn't hear what he was saying to the guy on the other end. . . |
