DESERT STORM - PART 2
By: Boogieman

Spc. Posey lugs the AN/PAQ-3 Modular universal laser equipment target designator, M.U.L.E. (for short) in case the squad happens along their target.

Spc. Posey checks over the M.U.L.E. Trying to keep it free of sand and dust.

Lt. Graves about to radio Riyadh that hostile forces have been confirmed but no, repeat, no hot potato sighted.

Spc. McQueen signals to ''Pappy'' that Iraqi troops are around the next bend.

Capt. Egan confers with Lt. Graves, "Wait until night and then hit the target hard and fast." After all, Rangers work best at night. Lt. Graves relays message back to SOC bunkers back in King Khadid & waits for USAF liaison officer to confirm.

Sgt. ''Pappy'' Garrett is cooking in his PASGT but knows after dark the desert will get alot hotter. This old warhorse knows that the longest part of the day comes when you know a firefight is coming.

Captain Egan moves off to double check their postion on the GPS, recording the spot on his topo's in case they should need ordance or medi-vac's.Then he reflects on his CO's orders: ''Take down that bunker and find those SCUDs." One last SITREP and the Rangers settle in for dusk.

Awesome work there again Boogieman! Of course, as I said before, your location is just too perfect. And all your troops are very very cool. Your pictures this time are nice and clear as well. All around terrific work. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. -- GL
