FIELD OF ARMOR TIGER TANK
By: Buzz

Here are some detail shots of the FOA Tiger Tank, I just got it last week. I got the basic German dark yellow paint job. I want to do the camo, numbers, crosses myself. As I work on the tank I will send in pics. My digital is not the best but you can see what you guys need to see. My tiger has the zimmerit paste added to the turrent, sides, front, back it was extra,40.00. But well worth it to me gives the tank a worn battle ready look. I am no expert but the main parts of the tank seemed to be a plastic/styrofoam mix, hatches, 88 main gun are all plastic. The hatches all open and close, the tracks are hard plastic and do roll over the wheels.

Total weight is about 50 lbs and as in the photos makes the 21st Stuart tank look very small and weak. The 88 cannon is awesome, the turrent can rotate full 360 just like the real thing. I also got the tools, towcable,MG 34 for the top on back order will ship soon. I ordered it almost a year to the date and to me it is well worth the wait. I am a huge Tanker fan as you can tell, but the Tiger is a much have for any WW2 german armor freak. I cannot say enough about the detail on this baby, after some camo paint and a crew, etc my dreams of having a nice Tiger will be there.

A word of warning guys, the wife will freak when you get it in the house as mine has decided we need to move HEE! HEE! Anyway you can see why I am so happy with it, the guys at FOA know how to make a tank..... Feel free to email if you have questions about it.....LOL
