A redo of my Germans, with the brick wall diorama i made up. IN this case,
a Waffen SS machine gun crew has set up a covering field/MG post. A
Fallschirmjaeger has come up for a rest/intelligence check on the area. An
SS engineer is busy repairing the Fallschirmjaeger's flame thrower while he
waits. I threw this together to show off all my "cool" German gear.
Lots of 21C items here and there, and I think they compare VERY favorably with the competitors. For instance, the Headsculpt/body of the Fallschirmjaeger is 21C, a painted Gran Sasso Raider. He looks right in place with the BBI bodies the others have. Other pieces of 21C gear: The FG 42 with scope, the Ardennes helmet, the anti-tank rifle in the background, the Camo smock on the MG gunner, the helmet cover, and camo pants from the German MGunner. THe soft cap and FS ammo bandolier are 21 as well. Boots are mostly 21C (Afrika corp, but I love their look). |
| Awesome work again old friend! All your Japanese troops are always a pleasure to look at. And that is some very sharp kitbashing work on the German Machine gun crew. A great setup on both projects. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. - GL |
