CUSTOM WWII MARINE
By: Sixty Driver

This is the Dragon Kenneth KB figure. He has the LBE and weapon from the Raider set as well as boots from the 29th infantry set. The suspenders were replaced with a nylon fabric which was then repainted. Suspender clips were made from brass wire. The pistol belt grommets were made by burning them in with a soldering iron (yeah everyone says I use it tooooo much) with a touch of brass paint for wear. Needless to say, his "stubble" was made with my old soldering iron as well. All the gear is suspended from the belt in the same manner as the prototype. The wire retainer's were made with brass and attached to each piece of equipment with the same material that the suspenders were made from. Everything has been repainted with Tamiya acrylics. His head was airbrushed with Tamiya paints as well. The sweat soak through was made by brushing on a very dark green almost black wash of Tamiya paint thinned with rubbing alcohol. -- Sixty Driver

Outstanding work there trooper. I have to admit I've never seen Kenneth looking so good. I loved all the pieces you used and the custom job to his face is just awesome. I can't wait to see your next project Sixty Driver. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. -- GL
