| Tropentarn - (first 5 photos) - There was some interest in having an OT review of these sets so I will include that info here. These bashes use items from all three of the sets. The shortcoming of the sets is that between all three of them there is only one pair of pants. The gear is top notch. Uniforms are high quality with good stitching. Hats require a small head or little to no hair sculpting. The across the pouch chest shown in image 1 & 2 was listed as a radio pouch. It caught my eye as being very similar to the drop-down pouch that came with the 21C VBSS set. The pistol and silencer fit and I like the look. I have the tactical vest, camo cap, and radio with head piece left over. I plan to do another german SF soldier in jeans and t-shirt using this gear. So there is the potential for three figures if you add a little gear yourself. |
| CIA - (next 3 photos) - This kitbash uses the Brit 8th Army Ssam. Jeans and glasses are SOTW. Boots, vest, backpack, and comm gear are BBI. The rest is 21C. I imagined this figure to be an early CIA insertion helping co-ordinate support with the Northern Alliance in 'Stan. |
